In the aftermath of the tragedy of 9/11 it seemed
important to record the moment and express the grief,
sadness, and anger at an enemy that would attack America
and cause such a tremendous loss of innocent life.

The only power I have to win a war against evil and terrorism, and so defend those I love, is to refuse to inflict evil or terror myself. How many photos of dead firemen must we contemplate before we begin to truly honor them - by carrying water the way firemen, clouds, and rivers do, to anyone and everyone who'll die without it?


This is the first video in a series of videos made in
the aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy and I hope that they
can reflect both the grief all good Americans feel for
them and the desire to see justice done on their behalf.

Subject: Uncertain
I am not sure. I was looking for something I could show some students. The images of the towers and people at the scene that day are intense for me, for reasons which I will not write about here. I am not able, however, to fit the image of Bush winking and smiling (repeated) and those of him jogging etc. in with the destruction of the towers.
